Evaluations at Our Voorhees Center
Children’s Specialized ABA offers comprehensive autism diagnostic evaluations for children up to age 6 at our Voorhees center. Evaluations are conducted in English by a licensed psychologist using the ADOS-2, CARS-2, and ADI-R, the same gold-standard tools used in academic medical centers. Most New Jersey families receive an appointment within two weeks.
After the evaluation, you receive a detailed written diagnostic report accepted by NJ school districts and health insurers. If your child receives a diagnosis, our Voorhees center also provides ABA therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy, so your family can continue care in the same location with the same team.
Evaluations are conducted in English only. If your family needs interpreter support for care coordination or the parent interview, let us know when scheduling.

After the Evaluation
If your child receives an autism diagnosis, our Voorhees center offers the full range of services to begin therapy right away:
- Center-based ABA therapy (ages 18 months to 6)
- Home-based ABA therapy (up to age 12)
- Speech therapy
- Occupational therapy
- Parent and caregiver guidance
A BCBA at our Voorhees location will conduct a follow-up assessment to develop your child’s individualized therapy plan. Many families begin ABA services within weeks of diagnosis.
