Psychological Evaluations
We also provide comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess your child’s strengths and needs. This allows us to develop customized treatment plans that address the whole child, not just their autism diagnosis.
We know that caring for a child with autism can be challenging, and we are here to support not just the child, but also the entire family. Our parent support group offers a safe space for parents to share their experiences, learn from each other, and receive guidance from our experienced therapists.
Social Skills Group
We believe that social skills are crucial for children with autism to thrive in their communities. Our social skills group offers a fun and supportive environment for children to develop communication, friendship, and teamwork skills.
After School Program
Our after-school program, “Social Connections,” provides a structured and engaging environment for children with autism to continue their learning and development. Our Social Connections program runs from 5:00 to 7:00 pm for children ages 6-12.

Meet the Beltsville ABA Center Team
Colleen Johnson
My name is Colleen Johnson, and I have been a Behavior Analyst for the past four years. I initially earned my Master of Arts in Teaching with the goal of working in schools within Preschool Special Education. I later returned to school to earn my Master’s in Special Education with a focus in Applied Behavior Analysis.
I began my career in ABA as an in-home RBT, where I quickly discovered my passion for the science of behavior analysis and its ability to create meaningful change in the lives of learners and their families. I went on to teach in Montgomery County Public Schools for several years before transitioning to an ABA clinic full-time.
I am passionate about applying the principles of behavior analysis with learners across a wide range of ages and needs. I especially value collaboration with other clinicians, educators, and professionals across disciplines to provide well-rounded, individualized support.
I am excited to bring my experience and passion for ABA to my new role as Clinical Director at Beltsville, and I look forward to supporting our learners, families, and clinical team!
