About Children's Specialized ABA

Children’s Specialized ABA is designed to address the comprehensive needs of children, teens, and young adults diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). By leveraging the expertise of the Children’s Specialized Hospital Autism Center of Excellence, the program aims to expand access to innovative and compassionate care, empowering children diagnosed with autism to thrive. Children’s Specialized ABA embraces a holistic approach, recognizing the interconnectedness of physical, emotional, and social well-being, ensuring every aspect of a patient’s life is consider in their therapeutic journey.

Our integrated care model brings ABA therapy services augmented by complementary therapies, such as speech and language, occupational, and behavioral health services, ensuring a comprehensive, whole-child approach that supports a wide range of needs, from verbal to behavioral and social skills.

Featured Role – Psychologist

We are seeking an exceptional psychologist to join our team to empower children and support their families. Compensation: $150,000 – $175,000 per year

Job Type: Full Time

Location: (Remote) New Jersey

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, including clinical interviews, standardized testing, and behavioral observations to diagnose mental health and developmental disorders.
  • Administer and interpret a variety of psychological tests.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals during the evaluation process and ongoing treatment.
  • Prepared detailed evaluation reports summarizing findings, diagnoses, and recommendations for treatment or intervention.
  • Provide feedback to clients and their families regarding assessment results in a clear and compassionate manner.
  • Stay current with psychological research, assessment techniques, and ethical standards to ensure best practice in evaluation.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A doctoral degree in Psychology required.
  • Licensing: NJ state license.
  • Skills: Strong Communication, analytical thinking, empathy, and ethical decision making are essential. Experience with various therapeutic methods and a solid understanding of mental health disorders are also critical.
